Simone is from Italy and received his PhD in Functional and Structural Genomics at SISSA (Trieste). Prior to the PhD, he graduated in Medical Biotechnology at the University of Turin. At the lab, his project will be focused on SHANK3 gene haploinsufficiency and Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASDs).
